Choosing IUESA as the best association in humanism in 2015

IUESA: a meeting on the role of scientific associations in improving the quality of higher education was held at Tehran International Exhibition Hall on Thursday, December 17, 2009.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Education Research and Technology and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Director General of Policy Planning and Research of the Ministry of Science, Scientific Secretary of the Commission's Board, Chairman of the Scientific Council of Iran and a group of officials. The commission of scientific associations selected 11 associations; Technology Management, Agriculture and Crop Science Iran, Iran urban economics, engineering, rail transportation Iran, Iran accounting, and engineering efficiency power industry in Iran, Iranian naval engineering, gas engineering, math Iran, Iran and Iran genetic engineering as Community of the Year 94 as the top ones in 2015.

Criticizing the slight share of scientific associations in humanism among top associations in 2015, Seyyed Mohsen Tabatabaei Mozdabadi, the secretary of IUESA said: This shows that the humanities still requires more work in applied and indigenous knowledge production.

Stating that top documents of human capital development in the country are regarded as a basic assumption of Islamic development, Managing director of the Journal of Urban Economics and Management said for example, the strategy 8 Holistic Scientific Map and first paragraph of the notice of general economic policy of resistance clearly noted the role of human resource development in the growing and development of the country and this development cannot be achieved except through locally produced sciences.

Pointing out that most academics licenses belong to humanities, he added: however, these associations could not achieve their missions.

Emphasizing that the basis for establishing scientific associations is removing he gap between the university and the operational and administrative areas, Vice Chairman of Iran Urban Economics Scientific Association said: It seems that the situation is far better in the field of engineering sciences than humanistic sciences and this shows that we have a new and comprehensive approach to strengthen the scientific associations officials in Humanities.

It is worth mentioning that IUESA could obtain top association with a score of 1,316.25 in humanism in 2015.
