First international conference on urban economy; emphasis on tomorrow cities
IUESA: First international conference on urban economy, with the approach of resistance economy, was held in conference hall of Bank Shahr Tehran with the presence of professors, researchers, and students.
Many scientific and administrative figures, including Dr. Hossein Mohammadpour Zarandi, CEO of Bank Shahr and president of IUESA, Dr. Davoud Danesh Jafari, Ex Economy minister, Dr. Jafar Qaderi, member of planning and budget of the Parliament, Mohammadreza Pourebrahimi, representative of Kerman, Mohammad Mahdi Zahedi, Head of Education and Research Commission of the Parliament, Brigadier General Teymoor Hosseini, the head of traffic police in Tehran, Alireza Javid, Technical Deputy of Tehran Municipality, Mohammad Khodadi, Secretary General of Asian Mayors Forum, Gashtasb Mozaffari, Deputy Director of the International Centre for Communication and International Affairs Tehran Municipality, Hasan Ghafourifard, Former MP and many other figures participated at this event.
“Economy of smart city”, “economy of urban tourism”, “economy of urban infrastructures”, “economic culture of city and citizenship education”, “urban dilemmas, the environment, and air pollution, management of human capital development and urban economy, banking systems, social banking, and urban economy, modeling resistance economy in cities and urban passive defense, pricing urban services, financing, and municipal revenues, management of municipal service, organizations of urban management, and private sector” were the topics of this conference.
Three panels including “resistance economy, Islamic banking, and urban finance”, “economy of smart city”, and “urban infrastructure and smart city” were held in the sidelines of this conference.
The book of “social banking with the approach of urban economy and human resources training” written by Dr. Hossein Mohammadpour Zarandi and Seyyed Mohsen Tabatabaei Mozdabadi was unveiled at this event.
Pioneer cities in the field of urban economy as well as Iranian and foreign researchers were honored.
It is worth mentioning that administrative managers from Italy, Georgia, Turkey, South Korea, and Thailand shared their experiences with Iranian researchers.
